Athletics

Yesterday we had athletics and was a fun experience and really challenging coming up against my friends. Really competitive and pressuring but also a motivation for next year. I placed in the finals for the 100m year boys race but unfortunately I didn't place but came fourth in the 400m year 7 boys race. I plan to make improvements for next year so that I can raise the bar and also challenge myself a bit more.

Tongan Language Week

Hey guys, 2 weeks ago it was Tongan language week and me and my friends Lj and Lino prepared a short dance for Tongan language week it took about 4 days to learn it and we even skipped our lunch breaks to practice so I hope you enjoy.

Kindess is never wasted

Hi My name is Mia and in room 6 we were learning about the moral of the story and we learned about how in the story the mouse helped the lion and it was saying being nice to people because you never know when you need someone to be nice to you.

Ako Hiko Toolkit

Today I went to Ako Hiko Toolkit and I learned how to make a kahoot quiz and some scratch tips but I also made some new friends on the way and had lots of fun and learned heaps.The first session i learned about scratch sound like how to use them and to make sounds on scratch. In the second session we learned how to make a kahoot quiz first we played a game and then they taught us how to make it and some tips how we can better ourselves. On the last session we did scratch for beginners and it was fun because they taught us how to change your avatar and how to change background but I already knew all this stuff but I still really enjoyed meeting new people. I had a great experience and i hope to do this next year

ANZAC POPPIES

Hi my name is Mia and me and my class have been doing work that was related to ANZAC and the image that you see now is the poppies that we made for ANZAC we had a piece of paper that had the flower and the stem and we had to cut carefully around the edges and one we were done with that you have to glue them together and that is it your done.
